The following resources are written specifically for the Australian Curriculum. The Australian Curriculum is the foundation for Australian students’ future learning, development and participation in the Australian community. Each topic sets out essential knowledge, understanding, skills and capabilities and provides a national standard for student achievement in core learning areas.
With these considerations and the Melbourne Declaration on Educational Goals for Young Australians in mind, the curriculum gives special attention to these three priorities:

- Asia and Australia’s engagement with Asia
