Write Now! - Grammar, Language and Editing Skills is a six-book series that teaches basic grammar and spelling conventions. The series uses fun and eccentric contexts to engage students' interests in learning about language and how it works.
Each photocopiable worksheet contains a reference section which explains rules, conventions and exceptions in clear and simple terms. This provides both teachers and students with a "Metalanguage" - a language used to discuss and describe language. The level of difficulty progresses through the series, with Books 1 and 2 suiting senior primary classes, or junior secondary students who may be struggling with literacy and need to revisit basic skills. Books 3, 4, 5 and 6 are suitable for junior through to middle secondary students.
