| The Targeting Society and Environment series promotes active inquiry learning by students. It provides teaching strategies which focus on developing knowledge and understandings about society and environment. Teachers can use the units as they are, or take ideas from them in their own Society & Environment lessons. All units are based on Outcomes from the National Profile for Studies of Society and Environment, and can be easily linked to State Outcomes.
Each book in the series contains a content coverage checklist, a student outcome record and over 60 blackline master activities; where students will learn how to initiate, gather, organise, synthesise, apply and then reflect on the information they receive regarding their own society and environment.
