The Starchasers series provides exciting science fiction stories using the same characters, and will appeal to boys and girls equally. The interest level is for 8-14 year olds with a reading age of 8-9 years. There are six chapter books and a teaching guide.
The Starchasers’ Teaching Guide contains photocopiable work sheets covering all six books in the set one series. Each book is supported by eight work sheets that have been carefully crafted to engage and enthuse students. The activities have a literacy focus, but are designed around a variety of tasks that will appeal to 8-14 year olds. Teacher’s notes fully explain each work sheet and its focus as well as providing extension ideas.
