The three Science Topics for Senior Students books present a wide variety of material aimed at students studying science subjects in Years 11 and 12. Many of the work sheets can be used as extension work for more able Year 9 and 10 students. The activities are designed to gain the interest of students and extend their knowledge, understanding and recall of science - something not always encourage by conventional text books.
 
Over the three books in this series, many branches of science are represented, including astronomy, biology, chemistry, ecology, geology and physics.

The design highlights definitions and key concepts seperate from the main text.
 
Many of the activity sheets can be used by teachers who have little prior experience in science  - ideal for replacement teachers.
 
In order to extend self-motivated students, and improve their fact-finding skills, most topics include a 'research' section. Outline answers to these are provided in the Answers section.
