Readers� Theatre helps student build fluency by practising reading with their peers. Each book in this series contains eight photocopiable scripts. The scripts have been written for groups of six to ten students and have been carefully graded to include roles for less able readers, as well as their more fluent classmates. This enables all students to participate on an equal footing and helps build the confidence of less fluent students. Each play has cross-curricular links to Maths, Science or SOSE/HSIE. Extensive teaching notes are provided for the plays to assist with the planning of each performance.
