Rainforest Maths is a suite of interactive maths activities, covering most of the outcomes for each grade and state in Australia. It is particularly useful for preparing students for various state and national testing programs.
The program was created by Jenny Eather (an Australian teacher) as a website for primary school students. It was extrememly popular with schools in Australia and worldwide and was purchased by Mathletics in October 2008. The website is now only available to Mathletics subscribers. Blake Education has purchased the rights to offer the site to schools as a CD-Rom for single levels or all seven levels. Each level can be installed onto school networks, classroom computers or used on an interactive whiteboard.
The activities are written to address the outcomes of the maths curriculum in all grades and states, and provide support and practise in Number, Algebra, Space, Measurement, Money and Chance and Data.
