| Understanding the language of maths is critical to understanding mathematical concepts. Literacy in Maths: Number and Algebra focuses on essential curriculum topics. Each topic contains a list of words which are featured in a range of literacy activities and games for students of all ability levels.
Students will explore the mathematical terms in a variety of textual and visual representations. The last uni provides a series of "Jeopardy" questions and answers, specially designed for whole-class games, and also successful in small groups or pairs.
