| Shugg was not thinking about his problem with Duke just now. He was thinking about the octopus. Somehow Shugg had one. It had followed him home from the beach and now it was sliding through the cat flap.
“Make yourself at home,” Shugg said to the octopus. “This could be the start of a beautiful friendship.”
Shugg has a problem. His backpack is continually snatched by a bully, Duke, and thrown into out-of-reach places. When Calamari the octopus follows Shugg home from the beach one day, Shugg thinks it could be the start of a friendship. But he has no idea that Cal might also solve his problem with Duke. |
