In the book The Big Squeeze, Tom isn't too happy when his mum offers his babysitting services so that she and her friends can play cards. But Tom isn't expecting things to go from bad to worse. When Uncle Andy turns up and momentarily distracts Tom with his latest creature collection, baby Cyril takes the opportunity to deface Dad's masterpiece with purple paint. And then to top things off, Myrtle the python escapes and wraps Uncle Andy tightly in her coils. Tom isn't sure what to do, until he remembers his book of magic tricks. |
