“Oh, OK,” said Oliver, giving in. “But don’t you dare bite anyone. I don’t want any of my friends turning into vampires.”

I love a good joke, a corny one too. I like a story with a twist as well, but even I was surprised when Batty fell for Miss Finch. I hope they live happily ever after — I bet Oliver does too, but I guess we’ll have to wait and see what (or who) arrives from Aunt Rosita next year.
