| The First Flight teaching guide contains a five page section of ideas and activities for each of the ten books in the First Flight series. Every section provides the following information about individual stories:
- Genre and brief description
- Short summary of the plot
- Glossary of vocabulary that may be challenging
Activities for groups, comprehension and extension work are included, as well as three photocopiable worksheets for ech book. First Flight is a series of ten books written to appeal to reluctant 9 to 14 year old students with a reading age of 6.5 to 7 years. The stories contain a wide variety of genres and styles and will especially appeal to boys. |
