Discovering Science is six-book series designed to support teachers of primary science.

The activities introduce students to a broad range of science concepts; they are fun, practical and encourage active involvement through prediction, obsevation, recording and exploring!

The level of difficulty progresses from Book 1 through to Book 6. Books 1—2 are generally suited to lower primary; books 3—4 to middle primary; and Books 5—6 to upper primary. Books 1—4 in the series may also be suitable for lower level integrated and ESL students.

The photocopiable activity sheets include an equipment list, clear step-by-step instructions, safety advice and space for students to record their results and conclusions. For each topic and activity sheets there are comprehensive supporting notes for the teacher, detailed preparation notes and safety advice. Teacher preparation is minimal!
