The Developing Literacy for High School series of three photocopiable literacy activity books are suitable for students in years 7 - 10, with the level of task difficulty increasing from book one through to book three.
Spelling patterns, rules and exceptions, common root words and the parts of language are explored in a diverse range of activity types that will provide students with transferable spelling skills.
Each two-page is divided into three sections that consist of:
- a starter activity
- a consolidation task to reinforce the main concepts and skills
- an extension activity.
The teacher's notes section will provide teachers with lesson ideas and useful suggestions about how to best utilise each page.
