| Copy and Cut: Stories from Around the World provides a wide variety of photocopiable craft templates, each with simple instructions for children to follow. The templates enable children to make books and models based on traditional stories from countries around the world. The projects provide innovative contexts for practising writing and literacy skills.
There are opportunities for the children to read instructions, to write text for a purpose and to tell stories orally. The projects link with fiction and poetry work on traditional stories; stories about fantasy worlds; stories and poems from other cultures; and myths, legends, fables and parables.
